The mission of our program first and foremost is to have fun, not only the players but the coaches and parents as well. Our goal is to develop competitive select youth baseball teams and win baseball games. We strive to provide an opportunity for all of our young men to become better players through competition and teamwork, and better individuals by emphasizing respect for each other and the game of baseball. We work to improve our players' individual skills in order to realize their ultimate potential on the field.
While our first priority is to have fun also understand that this club and the teams involved are serious about competitive baseball. It is a substantial time and financial commitment to play at this level on these type of teams. Our season begins early-fall with indoor training and typically doesn't’t end until late summer. If selected to a Raptor team make sure you have discussed with your player and your family the commitment level required if you accept a roster spot.
-
Our fall/winter indoor training program is held at Big League Edge - BLE, considered one, if not the best, of the top facilities on the West Coast.
-
As a club, rather than individual teams, our rates are some of the most competitive available per-player in the Puget Sound region due to aggressive sponsorship and fund-raising incentives.
-
Our fall/winter program is run exclusively by Aaron Trolia. Aarons resume ranges from the college ranks to pitching in spring training for the Mariners. Aaron brings his unique perspective and experience to the club focused on player, as well as coaching staff, training and development.

-
Unlike other programs, where hired trainers might spend a few sessions with a team, the Raptors have retained Aaron to work with our club each and every week during fall/winter training, directing and leading the club/team(s) player and coach training programs.
-
Our individual team coaches have solid resumes coaching youth teams but recognize they can also improve as well. Thus, our coacing staff works and trains with Aaron focused on our total team/club training concept to improve players and the coaches as well.
-
Team, Player and Coach training is not limited to the fall/winter indoor sessions but extends to spring outdoor practice, practice games, leagues and tournaments.
-
Raptor club members can access private training sessions at reduced cost.
Our formula and focus is simple Year after year youth baseball becomes more competitive. Everyone wants to win, and of course we want to as well, but at what cost? Every respected coach, doctor/trainer and respected baseball expert will say kids in our age groups shouldn't be throwing "junk", curve balls etc. However we see it at even the 10U level tournaments, some team will have a 10U kid throwing (or trying to throw curve balls.) Statistics prove these kids will be lucky if they can even pitch by the time the reach high school.
As a club we decided we needed fo focus on building competitive teams so the kids have fun, but also, to train the kids, and the coaching staff properly, to provide players with the skills and tools to be competitive now, but also protect their development, as they mature, grow so they are able to compete at the high school level and beyond. Based on those parameters we set out to find the right person to direct the club, team, player and coach training programs.
The Raptors selected Aaron for this position based on his philosophy of developing players that can grow and develop in their current age groups, but will also have the tools and be prepared to compete at the high school level and beyond rather than burning kids out just for the sake of winning youth baseball tournaments.
If you are interested in playing for the Raptors, or would like more information just contact your age appropriate coach in the "Coach Contacts" to the right.
