The Raptors are an independent competitive/tournament youth baseball club located in Puyallup, WA. We currently field youth baseball teams in the 9U through 12U age groups. Teams are comprised of players from through-out the southern Puget Sound region including Puyallup, Tacoma, Graham, Sumner, Orting, Bonney Lake, Spanaway, Parkland, Enumclaw, Federal Way, Auburn, Kent and Beyond.

Raptors 10U Take 2010 Yakima Summer Slam Championship
10U Raptors Win 8/7 Yakima Tourney
The 10U team finished the season taking home the Yakima Summer Slam championship. After an early Saturday loss to the local Yakima Rebels, the Raptors reeled off 4 consecutive wins to bring home the hardware. Hitting and pitching were the key over the weekend as team drove in close to 60 runs in a very warm weekend. Great work by all the players and congrats on going out on top.
BPA 2010 Western World Series - 11U
BPA 2010 Western World Series Wrap Up
The 11U Raptors brought "game" to the BPA Western World Series the weekend of July 31/August 1.. A group of kids who formed a team and practiced for two weeks and had never played a game together competed with the best 11U tournament teams in the state and made the "Elite Eight."
Losing their first 3 pool games by a total of six runs with two games being decided by one run each, they seeded 4th in their pool.
They then shocked everyone in the first bracket game on Saturday night as they put all the pieces together and defeated the #2 seed Diablos from another pool to advance to Sunday bracket play.
After three games on Saturday, finishing at 8PM in the evening, they had to turn around and play a number one seed at 8AM Sunday morning and ran out of gas and were defeated by one of the Seattle select teams one game shy of the semi-finals.

"We put this team together because we had a group of kids who wanted to participate in the BPA Western World Series for the experience. Our goal was simply to participate and have fun. We not only accomplished that goal, but we also stunned everyone as our kids went head to head and competed with the best in the west!"
Congratulations to Jack Sartin for making the finals of the home run competition and Austin Foster and Andrew Curran as being only two of four competitors to hit the "bulls-eye ring" in the accuracy competition.
It was a great weekend for Raptors Baseball and every player on the team deserves MVP recognition!

Through wind and rain, 6 teams played in our 10U jamboree giving the teams time to get outside and time against some teams. Great early season pitching and hitting was great to see. Thank you all that attended and helped support the event!!
